Six nights gives you time to truly switch off. This extended honeymoon includes everything in our 3-night package, with extra days to explore Bugala Island at your own pace, or not at all.

What your week looks like

  • Arrival: ferry pick-up at Lutoboka landing, welcome and check-in to the Deluxe Cottage.
  • Island day: a guided tour of Kalangala’s cultural sites, fishing communities, Banga crab bay and the John Speke monument.
  • Virgin islands day: a boat ride to the green virgin islands with hammocks, optional sport fishing (extra cost) and crocodiles, monitor lizards and birds to spot.
  • Nature day: a guided walk into Lutoboka Forest Reserve and bird watching at dawn.
  • Cycling day: a relaxed bicycle tour on quiet island roads.
  • Slow days: breakfast in bed, hammocks under the trees, lunch in the gardens and bonfires in the evening.
  • Last night: a candle-lit dinner in our summerhouse.

Boat trips to the nearby islands can be arranged at an extra cost.
