 Verified Hidden paradise in Kalangala
This hidden gem of a place is a paradise you will wish to stay in for longer. Everyone from the staff has been so welcoming and looked after all of our needs. The garden is wonderful and the food is delicious, let alone that everything comes at very affordable prices.

 Verified Place to rest well and enjoy nature.. good value for money
This is a tranquil place with lovely, helpful staff and walking distance from the shore. The room was fine with a large bed and a simple but well functioning bathroom.

Wow what a place!! This place is such an oasis of peace, luxury & beautiful lush greenery!🌸 We were here for a weekend with friends which was the perfect duration. The island is beautiful. Philo can help you book really nice trips as well. The breakfast & dinner was really tasty and of good quality. Maybe the best of all is the great hospitality and care that the owners portray to their guests: they are so helpful, intentional & do everything to make your stay amazing. Amazing women!! Another thing we wont forget is the amazing garden; its like nothing we know. Beautiful lush trees, flowers, all kinds of birds, monkeys that are eating avocados & many seats and chillspots everywhere. The rooms contain everything you need & are pretty neat as well :) With a nice walk you can walk to Kalangala town, but you could also get a boda or taxi, which Philo helps you with as well. We had such a great time & would recommend this place definitely!!!

We had the best stay at philo. They arranged pick-up, helped us with planning and booking activities and provided good food. Really nothing to complain. The whole experience was 10/10. Would definitely recommend going there.

We spent two nights at Philo and had a wonderful stay there. Beautiful cottage room, very affordable, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and a very spacious garden with hangmats for relaxation. We definately hope to come back some day.

Carol was of great help even with changes we made at the end, the rooms are clean, good food, they pick u up from the ferry and drop u on the return, camp fire was beautiful♡. We enjoyed the girls trip. Thank you Carol, Bridget, and the whole team, it was a pleasant stay.

Timely professional customer service and amazing food with a touch of finnese,will surely be back for the sumptuous fish and pork. More so the ambience and serenity of a place that allows one to zone out from city choas ........thanks guys for treating us like Queens!!!

Great service and really hospitable! The ambience feels really natural and the rooms are quite cozy. You can tell the time and care put into each meal and it's totally worth it! I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a home away from home on the island. Great job guys we had so much fun, will definitely come again.
